Yes, ultimately we only reached the count of four strong. Me on the right

All the armor, weapons and some of the clothes done by me

Better pics on the way, this one was taken on my cam, and as we all know..... it's not that good..

That is epic! I really wish I could start doing stuff like this... Fantastic job!

It's not the size of your magic wand that matters...
It's your magical ability!

whoa... i wonder what happend when someone meets you guys in that forest..;)

I would love to have friends like you guys. And I love the fact that you did it right. I have seen so many half assed attempts and drow/dark elves that have been very disappointing. I love the craftsmanship that went into the making of the armor and weapons. Excellent job.

You make for fine Drow :) I'm quite tempted to show this pic to the local Drow group - to inspire them ;)

Umm... Sharpener, you _do_ know you made me drool all over my keyboard, right? :jawdrop:

~nieswiadomosc, I believe people would run like hell was on their heels. My friend once played drow (and his costume and makeup was not as half as goodlooking as these) and you wouldn't believe how scared some less experienced LARPers were of him.
Some citation from that game -
"They have a green one, attack!"
(That would be me, in my tiefling costume, probably confused me with orc from afar. Something close to 20 people run up to hill and then...)
"They have a black one, flee!!!"
(20 people running down the hill like mad.) :XD:

I know _I_ would definitely run when I'd see those guys in LARP.
But, ad a crafter and leatherworker myself I would probably try to sneak closer and get better view of costumes ;)

I simply second what Stuart already said. (Especially considering we belonging to the same bunch of LARPers). :D

great , great stuff there!

if i happened to stumble into that group on my way from the tavern back to my tent or the barracs i would surely think twice about attacking ^^

superb craftsmanship there, perfect makeup.. REAL drow.

the only thing that sort of jumps to mind: in my "knowledge2" of drow society it is matriarchic, with women holding al positions of power, based on a religious hierarchy?

so it would be unusual that the only woman in the group wears gear that is less decorated and looks a little simple in comparison to the others?

but that is only an RP issue. your leatherwork is inspiring. keep it up!

i could well imagine seeing your work in epic movies like lotr or something in that direction one day.

about the amount of people: quality over quantity i guess. the armors are fantastic! how was the larp?
