Heavy houseguardcuirass made with the same teqniques as the lighter houseguards version. Bends very well over both stomach and back, handsewn toghether feat alittle more pieces and engravings as the lighter one.

Made for a soldier bearing the rank of.. well around captains rank, maybe slightly lower. The individual himself has taken upon himself to worship both Lolth and Selvetarm (Yes, he is one of few permitted gods to worship ASIDE from the spiderqueen) to ensure both blessings in simple life and to highten his "chanses" in combat. Therefore this harness bares no markings of either god as the bearers bracers tell all of his devotion to them both.

And so, I am going to try and put it in my system to add this notice to all my new deviations as most just scroll right by the journal bearing all commissioning info atm.
So if anyones interested, read through the journal quickly and then ask whatever Q's you may have=)

Are there any points of articulation to make the waist move easier?

The main thing I've been hearing from people larping is along the lines of "I wish this thing didn't ride up and hit me in the chin when I sit down", and making it bend more could alleviate that.

Plus, I wouldn't mind being more flexible in my armor. :P

Have you done any with articulation points for waist movement? I've only made a total of 2 suits of armor thus far (one being [link]) and a simple set of undyed armor for a friend.

How do you normally go about making an articulate waist on a cuirass?

I normally leave that part uncoveed by the harness and add plates to the belt instead

I'm currently trying to source armour and clothing for a graduation film being shot next year and need to get a head start on costing and availability of various props.

I am curious as to how long it would take you to manufacture a set of armour. Fairly detailed, such as your personal armour is, with a lower face mask, upper & lower arm gaurds and bracers etc... With the engravings and what not. As I am based in South africa and would then have to courier the items here. Which is what makes time something of a limited commodity for me.

If you're interested or think you can help please let me know and we can liase in further detail.

Many thanks.
