Drow houseguards swords by Sharpener Drow houseguards swords by Sharpener
two standardissue houseguard scimitars. Shorter than the blades used by the specialists and nobility to more effectively be used along side the standard houseguards glaive. Purplecolored gemstones testify of user rank and housebelonings (in this case a Ugul Sut'Rinos of house Zau Nihl'lu'Szin).

Alot thicker and less slender than spec and noble weapons, to fit the houseguard duties better, as they engage more in open war and the use of a more "Z'ress A'thalak"-ish kind of fightingstyle based on groups and teams. No fibreglasshandle here as that is no std feat. in our house, just a special ornament to my blades, to have been made custom for my character.

Beautifuly crafted. I have yet to see such a nice work up close though. I also love the Ilythiiri asthetics.

Elegant shapes, and I love the beaten and used look of them.

nice! Would you mind telling what kind of foam you used? Is it just paint-on latex? And what sort of paint adheres well to latex?

Fibreglass-core, cellplastics serving as padding, and colored latexcover over that.

Actually, I would much love to hear of the making of these. As much as I can see from the picture - latex and leather?
(I'm an active LARPer, hence the curiousity, since these are truly beautiful)
