Bracers made to fit one of our house's mage-apprentices. Not alot of detail or ridges (as all apprentices are to be anonomous and identical in appearence to minimize "unfair behaviour" in the process of choosing the next housemage...).
Each house in our city has its own houseemblem, and their own spideremblem (used in rituals and ceremonies where more than one house participates) and here the latter is featured as a large etching on both bracers to honor the houses personal bonds towards the spiderqueen and her lines.
Not made to be protective (though they do host some protective features) as much as a decoration and homage to the equipment of the apprentices.
