Artist's Comments

Artarian battleuniform made out of leather, metal and various fabrics.

The idea with this set of armor was that it were to be made in hundreds for soldiers originating from the eastern corner of the empire, so it had to be light, and quite simple.

There are 5 different types of battleuniforms in these series,
The standard infantry soldiers, archers, scouts, breachers, and cavalry.

This piece is a slightly modified Infantry uniform, to match the rank of leutenant.

Given 2009-01-09

Artarian by ~Sharpener. According to the artist, this armor is "of my own design and made to fit the soldiers of the eastern corner of the empire Artaria (found in the Swedish LARP-society, Enhörningen). This particular one is made for a subcommander of a group of 20 strong total and with Arabian and southern Asian cultural influences. The climate of the realm is quite warm (think California) and so the armor and equipment must be light and not too warm." (Suggested by =Helen-Baq and Featured by `Kitten-of-Woe)
